Woodbridge - A healthy town to be in

Have you ever wondered how to keep fit and healthy with the minimum of expense and effort? The answer could be to live in a market town like Woodbridge.

Saturday 1 October sees the launch of a new leaflet describing the ways you can spend your time and improve your health too. From simply walking around the town (and let's face it, walking has to be an enjoyable option in Woodbridge) to buying local produce and enjoying the social aspects of a friendly community; these are all vital ingredients in living a healthy life.

From 10am to 12.30pm on Saturday 1 October there will be a stall in the Thoroughfare where you can pick up a leaflet, learn about the healthy "Eat 5-a-day scheme" and see how simple it is to stir fry vegetables that are so good for you. There will also be the opportunity to learn about Fair-Trade goods.

The event has been organised by Woodbridge Town Centre Co-ordinator, in conjunction with Millview House B&B, Finch's Fruit and Veg shop, The Kitchen Company, Suffolk Coastal and Fairtrade for Woodbridge
