The Competition

There are many competitions run throughout the UK for certain categories of pets, such as Pet Slimmer, Pet Survivor, Rescue Dog of the year. We want to celebrate your good old (or not so old) everyday pet who means the world to you.

We are in a privileged position every day at our clinics to hear all the little stories about your pets, and learn about all their little peculiarities that make them individuals.

We have long since felt that these amazing stories should be shared, and that is what this competition is all about.

The Judges

Lesley Dolphin - BBC Radio Suffolk presenter
Emma Magnus - local pet behaviourist and member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors
John McCarthy - Journalist, and dedicated owner of a 17-year-old cat named Mortimer
Brian Faulkner - Veterinary Surgeon

The Prize

Apart from the glory of the crown of Suffolk Pet of the Year 2006, you and your pet will receive a personalised pet portrait carried out by local artist Michael Gaffney.
