Does the sun always shine in Woodbridge?
Well, no, of course it doesn't but we do seem to have more than our fair share!
The photos below were taken on 23 December 2007:

90. Now private dwellings, notice the fine wrought-iron sign support (without the
sign) over the door to what was once The Queens Head public house.

91. The Seckford Tap public house. Previously known as The Seckford Arms.

92. The earlier Seckford Almshouses, expanded and enlargened (in Victorian times?).

93. Private cottages, probably built in the Victorian era.

94. A small lodge with a bell tower and ornate columns, part of Seckford Almshouses.

95. A separate lodge of Seckford Almshouses. Notice the intricate columns on
the corners and the ornate stepped gables. Also, the splendid cast iron fencing
and lamp standard. The ironwork was cast by Garrett's of Leiston.

96. At the centre of the Seckford Almshouses is the chapel.

97. The Seckford Almshouses rising up beyond the cast iron fence atop the wall.
