Woodbridge Library - NOTICE
November 2007 is the beginning of the Golden Age at Woodbridge library, an ongoing programme of free seminars, events, activities and entertainment for older people and carers.
Sessions will run on alternate Wednesday mornings and Thursday afternoons, highlights include Arts and Craft sessions, Community safety, Chess Club, Storytelling and International Circle Dancing, for beginners!

The Hasketon Charity Fair is annual event providing residents of Hasketon (and surrounding towns and villages) with an opportunity to support local charities and to do a little extra Christmas shopping. This year there will be 18 stalls to choose from. Charities represented include local and national charities. On sale will be cards, small gifts, home baking and bric-a-brac There will also be a raffle.

Cafe Noel - Fairtrade Christmas Cafe
St John's Church, Woodbridge

Starts 9.30am - Ends Noon
Charges: Free entry, donations for cake and drink Café Noel is one of two Fairtrade coffee mornings held every year at St John's Church in Woodbridge. These events are excellent opportunities to find out more about Fairtrade in a relaxed and friendly café style environment.
Café Noel also comes just in time to help with your Christmas shopping. This year stalls will include Traidcraft, Tearfund, FairPlay Seed, Argentinean crafts, an environment stand and Christian book and music stalls.
Due to how popular they were last year, Fairtrade For Woodbridge will also be selling official Fairtrade footballs on its own stand. Naturally, Fairtrade refreshments and homemade cakes will also be available to sit down with and enjoy.
Face painting will be available for the children (or young at heart!) and a toy corner will be accessible for the little ones.
A local band called Joshua's Army will also be adding to the atmosphere.
